ECR Ireland is hosting regular webinars to provide a channel for retailers, suppliers and service providers to keep each other informed of successful COVID-19 initiatives, safety practices and marketplace developments during this crisis.
The level of disruption to consumer & shopper behaviour is enormous and will constantly change throughout 2020 as lockdown eases and recession grips. Significant category shifts and lifestyle changes will occur weekly. Keeping abreast of these changes by identifying the new purchasing behaviour, understanding the supply chain & stock replenishment challenges and predicting the lasting effects on retailing in Ireland as they occur ... with actionable shopper insights ... will be critical.
Eventually, demand behaviour will settle and will become the “new normal”. Tracking this journey to the “new normal” will be essential for us all and we hope the ECR webinars will assist in our understanding of this path.
