An estimated one third of all food produced globally is either lost or wasted, according to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization. Given this staggering statistic, the ECR Community has identified food waste as one of its focus areas and is now trying to assess the extent to which ECR National members are working on this issue and the level of priority it is being given by their members.
We are asking ECR Nationals and members to complete a short survey to determine your interest level in initiating an ECR Community Project in this area, what the scope of work should be and the resources you have available for such a project.
As this project is being led by the ECR Community Shrink and OSA group, who’s mission it is to “sell more and lose less”, it is a great opportunity for ECR Nationals to gain insights and learning’s into how to address the topic of food waste in a structured, collaborative manner.
Click here to complete the survey. (It should take no longer than 2-3 minutes and will remain open until 10th October 2019)
